ABDUCTION

Staring out this attic window,
Mom, I'm crying out your name.
Raindrops dancing across the glass,
If I could only taste the rain.

Is it rain or your tear drops?
You must be worried sick and sad.
I wish that I could leave this room,
And come home to you and Dad.

Are you still searching for me,
Grandma and Grandpa too?
I keep hoping everyday,
That I'll be seeing you.

I'm terrified and frightened,
Since being taken by this man.
I keep praying that you'll find me soon,
Even though, you don't know where I am.

Mom, I did exactly what you told me to,
After you ran into the store.
I was coloring and playing with my doll,
When this man came through the door.
