It seems so very long ago
Since our wedding day.
Years have passed since we took those vows,
The time has sweetly passed away.

Through the mortgage and the kids,
With a clock that has no end,
Together we've done it, you and I,
As my spouse and as my friend.

The best years were done quite easily,
We made it through the not-so-good.
