If We'd Only Used Our Brains

We intercepted a transmission,
All about the mission,
Of the September attack.
Oh, it was crystal clear,
Before the day was here.
But why bother to react?

With our degrees and wit,
We simply ignored it.
No reaction, but refrain.
We should've gotten off our tush,
And informed Mr. Bush.
If we'd only used our brains.

CHORUS

Oh why, do we have spies,
Satellites and the F.B.I?
Another question by the way,
Why are we called, the C.I.A?

A day late, and dollar short,
Why bother to report,
Terrorist raising cane?
Now all the agencies,
Could've done it properly,
If we'd only used our brains.

Our apologies to all,
Because we dropped the ball.
We simply blew our chance.
Failing to do a job,
Instead we acted like Sponge Bob,
Now we're all square pants!

CHORUS

Oh why, do we have spies,
Satellites and the F.B.I?
Another question by the way,
Why are we called, the C.I.A?
