My arms are stretched and opened wide.
Child, I've counted each tear you have cried.
Stubbornly, you seek resolution alone,
Your legs are long but you have not grown.
Withholding your problems so selfishly,
Refusing to pass them on to Me.
Fast to spin yet slow to gain,
Self progression dances with self pain.
Soon you will buckle from it all,
But I shall catch you as you fall.
Trial and error is how we learn
Next time you'll know which way to turn.
