Somewhere we lost the meaning
Of how life's supposed to be.
Greed and selfishness are the cataracts
Which blinds us not to see.

The seven deadly sins prevail
In our suicidal society,
Engulfed in horrible bondage,
Unable to break free.

Destroying our own precious Earth,
The water, land and air.
Is anything really going to change
If we don't really care?

We are very self destructive,
Trapped within our deadly lair.
We have lost the meaning of it all,
Somewhere.
