End of the Line

On a sun filled day with a winter's touch,
I take a walk around the lake
Wondering if I'm caught in a dream,
Or, am I wide awake?
Thoughts of someone that I haven't met,
I question, "Is this person real?"
Next I turn and ask my heart,
"Hey, what is the deal?"

I really don't even know him,
He is only but a name.
Why do I feel like a high school girl?
Hoping that he feels the same.
I rush for my computer,
The boy makes me feel so fine.
There's something overpowering
About that man at the end of the line.

CHORUS
-------
He makes me laugh,
And he likes to dance.
We both love the beach,
Should I take a chance?
Has my time finally come
For me to truly live?
The man knows how to love,
And he knows how to give.
I really enjoy this feeling,
For this man who keeps on stealing
My romantic heart away.
As I wait to meet someday.

Daydreaming in my hot oil bath,
That's done by candlelight.
Thoughts of him last throughout the day,
And deep into the night.
It's a joy just to talk to him,
I've never opened up this way.
Because that man at the end of the line
Hears every word that I have to say.

CHORUS
-------
He makes me laugh,
And he likes to dance.
We both love the beach,
Should I take a chance?
Has my time finally come
For me to truly live?
The man knows how to love,
And he knows how to give.
I really enjoy this feeling,
For this man who keeps on stealing
My romantic heart away.
As I wait to meet someday.
