WANDERER

Oh, I'm the kinda guy
Who never settled down.
I just took my ministry
To each and every town.
I'd love'em and I'd leave'em,
That is just my way.
But the crowds would gather
To hear what I had to say.
I'm the Wanderer,
My Father's Wanderer.
I walk around-around-around-around-around.

I have disciples on my left,
And disciples on my right.
We would walk and talk,
Long into the night.
The boys travel with me
To see the miracles unfold.
They asked me why I do it,
I said,"because I'm told."
To be a Wanderer.
My Father's Wanderer.
I walk around-around-around-around-around.

I WALK FROM TOWN TO TOWN
I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FEET.
IF I DO THIS AGAIN,
IT'LL BE-FROM A HARLEY SEAT.

I represent the meek,
The loving, and the kind.
I can heal the lepers
And give sight to the blind.
Dance on top of water,
And even raise the dead.
I can feed the multitudes
With a single loaf of bread.
I'm the Wanderer,
My Father's Wanderer.
I walk around-around-around-around-around.

I WALK FROM TOWN TO TOWN
I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FEET.
IF I DO THIS AGAIN,
IT'LL-BE FROM A HARLEY SEAT.

I wander for a reason,
And serve my purpose well.
Trying to keep your sinful souls
From going straight to Hell!
I speak in simple parables
About impurity.
There's no way through the FATHER
Except by me.
I'm the Wanderer,
My Father's Wanderer.
I walk around-around-around-around-around.
